Each local edition is led by an Editorial Director, carefully selected for their outstanding professional career. These distinguished medical experts, with years of experience and demonstrated excellence, ensure that our publications maintain the highest levels of quality and relevance.

Originally from Piedras Negras, Coahuila, and residing in Mexico City. Graduated as a surgeon from the UNAM School of Medicine, CU campus. Specialized in internal medicine at the La Raza Medical Complex, IMSS. Head of the Cardiovascular Rehabilitation, Internal Medicine, and Coronary Risk Module at the Southern Region Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Unit of the IMSS for 27 years. Collaborated with Médica Sur for 33 years as an emergency attending physician, later as the head of the department, and now as the director of Critical Areas.

Dr. Pedro Yeverino Suárez

Graduated from the University of Santiago de Compostela (2009-2015) and specialized in neurosurgery at Hospital Universitario La Paz, Madrid (2016-2021). Currently specializing in skull base, vascular, and pediatric neurosurgery at the same center. Interested in microneuroanatomy with extensive experience in experimental microsurgery. Completed an observership in microneuroanatomy at ICNE, São Paulo, Brazil (2019), and in skull base endoscopy at Stanford Health Care, California, USA (2022). Board member of the National Council of Neurosurgery (2019-2021) and active member of SENEC, SONCAM, and EANS. Clinical teaching collaborator at the Autonomous University of Madrid since 2022.
